Hello to everyone,

As I look out my window at the fading colors of Autumn, it's hard to believe we are already hearing advertisements that are counting down the days till Christmas!  63 days to be exact, from today's date!  November is the month of giving thanks.  This year has been full of its usual ups and downs with family issues, health issues, financial issues, and so on, but I am always amazed and truly thankful how it all seems to work itself out.

I am thankful to the many members of the New Neighbors League who have been so supportive to me and to my position.  I also feel so blest when I see and hear of our members reaching out to others with supportive gestures and generous acts of kindness.  It's great to know we can count on each other for support through our friendships we have created: new and old.  We have a very busy month with three of our events all happening in the same week:  Coffee with Kids, our Social and the Coffee without Kids.  I hope everyone will be able to attend at least one if not two or more of these events.  When making your plans, please remember our Social at Rice's Nursery will also be our Installation of New Officers for our next term.  We would love to see a good turn out in support of those willing to take these important positions for our group.
